Well baby & Travel Vaccine

Vaccination is a safe and effective way to prevent diseases and save lives – now more than ever. Today there are vaccines available to protect against at least 20 diseases, such as diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, influenza, and measles. In Kenya, the Immunization Schedule is given by the Division of Vaccines and Immunizations (DVI) in the Ministry of Health and is commonly known as KEPI (Kenya Expanded Programme on Immunization).

AAR Hospital provides additional private vaccines that may not necessarily be in the KEPI schedule including vaccinations required for travel regulations. Vaccines can have mild side effects, such as pain, tenderness, or redness at the site of injection. Our seasoned nurses will educate you on how to manage anxiety and walk with you as the baby recovers as some vaccines react differently to each individual. Depending on your age, health status, lifestyle or occupational risk, travel, and previous immunization, the following vaccinations are recommended:
